Vietnam’s Lancaster Lincoln development in full swing

Bachy Soletanche has begun diaphragm walls, mass piling and kingpost works on the Lancaster Lincoln development in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

A trading centre, offices and apartments, Lancaster Lincoln is a new high-end condominium project located on Nguyen Tat Thanh street, in the up-and-coming District 4, near the central business district (CBD), Phu My Hung and Thu Thiem. It will comprise two 40-storey residential towers and one eight-storey commercial office tower.

Bachy Soletanche’s involvement consists of: 357 m of diaphragm walls (0.8 m thick, 32 m deep); 46 normal bored piles (1.2 m and 1.5 m in diameter); 66 shaft-grouted bored piles (1.5 m, 1.8 m and 2.2 m in diameter with a maximum depth of 82 m); and 92 kingposts with a maximum length of 16 m.

The construction work is scheduled for completion in 110 days, and the towers are expected to be operational during 2019.
