Singapore – Unispace, a global strategy, design, and construction firm creating people-centric spaces, has announced the appointment of Amanda Tham as its Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Amanda has more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership positions across multiple industries and countries – including serving as Group CFO of the Asia unit of Hiscox Ltd, Managing Director of Business Development for State Street Bank, and CFO for General Electric. Amanda will work across all regions Unispace operates in – Asia, EMEA, ANZ and Americas – with her base at Unispace’s London and Singapore studios.
In her role as CFO, Amanda will play a pivotal role in spearheading Unispace’s next stage of growth, and in driving operational excellence. Owned by private equity firm PAG, Unispace has ambitious plans to continue to grow geographically and deepen its specializations across offices, labs, higher education, sports and entertainment spaces. Within the past year, Unispace acquired global experiential design firm Downstream and Irish life sciences engineering design firm Biopharma Engineering – now ‘Unispace Life Sciences’.
“Unispace has an incredible offering. I’m looking forward to building on our momentum and helping to deliver success for our clients. I was also inspired by Unispace’s focus on building a strong Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) programme,” said Tham. “With my passion for ‘financial inclusion’, I’m excited to contribute to that.”
