Montgomery Asia, the organiser of Geo Connect Asia (GCA), has announced new dates for the show and conference, which had been scheduled for 23 to 24 March 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. The event will now be held from 1 to 2 June.
Themed ‘Geospatial & Location Intelligence Solutions for Asia – Underground, Land & Sea to Sky’, GCA 2022 will bring together the latest innovations in surveying and monitoring equipment, sensors, robotics and mapping solutions, among others. There will be two complementary industry profiles –Digital Construction Asia (DCA) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Asia.
“Since its inception, the main aim of Geo Connect Asia has been to bring together the region’s geospatial, location intelligence, digital construction and UAV communities. Challenging cross border travel conditions and event restrictions in Singapore present considerable challenges, especially for incoming visitors and exhibitors,” said Rupert Owen, co-founder of Geo Connect Asia.
“The date change will allow time for local event restrictions and international travel rules to gradually relax and facilitate expanded business and networking opportunities across core Asian markets.”
GCA is supported by numerous Singapore government agencies, including the Economic Development Board (EDB), Government Technology Agency (GovTech), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), National Parks Board (NParks) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), with SLA and GeoWorks (SLA’s geospatial industry centre) as its strategic partners.
